The Archdiocese of Louisville Multicultural Ministry will host a Multicultural Women’s Prayer Day on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Catholic Enrichment Center. This will be a day of prayer, reflection, and fellowship providing women the opportunity share their unique faith journey.
The theme of the event is “Rooted in Faith, United in Prayer.”

The Archdiocese of Louisville Ministry Institute will host a “Lenten Retreat: Approaching the Book of Signs in the Gospel of John as a Guide of Catechesis and Renewal.”
The retreat will take place on March 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. James Church in Elizabethtown in the Rodney Thomas Room.

Catholic Cemeteries invites you to the Way of the Cross for Young Christians at Saint John Cemetery. Participants will gather at the entrance located at 2647 Duncan Street at 1 p.m. Walking distance is about 300-400 yards.
Deacon Scott Haner will host this prayer service.

The Archdiocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is hosting a workshop on “How to Speak to Teens so They Actually Listen” on March 14 at the Maloney Center. The workshop will be given by Gian Gamboa, a youth ministry leader and Catholic speaker. Gamboa recently served as one of the emcees at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis.

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its African Ministries offer a Swahili Mass (Kiswahili Misa) on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m., St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 3112 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211. Join Fr. Deogratias Ssamba, A.J. for the Mass. All are welcome! Swahili is a Bantu language widely used as a lingua franca (a language that is adopted as a common language between speakers whose native languages are different) in East Africa and having official status in several countries. The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is hosting The I Am Encounter for young people. This powerful evening for all students grade 8-12, will take place on March 15, 2026, from 4:00–8:30 PM.
This gathering is designed as a stand-alone encounter with Christ, rooted in encounter, belonging, and mission. Teens do not need any prior experience to attend — this night is intentionally created for every high school student, wherever they may be on their faith journey.
The keynote speaker for this event is Gian Gamboa. Young people will also participate in breakout sessions, dinner, and Adoration with Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre.
Young people should sign up with their youth minister, campus minister, or teacher. Registration is $25.

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its African Ministries offer a Kirundi/Kinyarwanda Mass on the 4th Sunday of the month, at 12:00 p.m., St. Thomas More Catholic Church located at 6105 South Third Street, Louisville, KY 40214. Join Fr. Expedito Muwonge for the Mass. All are welcome! Kirundi, also known as Rundi, is a Bantu language and the national language of Burundi. It is a dialect spoken in Rwanda and adjacent parts of Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, as well as in Kenya. Kinyarwanda, Rwandan or Rwanda, officially known as Ikinyarwanda, is a Bantu language and the national language of Rwanda. It is a dialect of the Rwanda-Rundi language that is spoken in Burundi and adjacent parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Tanzania. “Happy and Blessed” is a short afternoon retreat designed to give participants an opportunity to think about what it means to love God. We’ll talk about what love is, why it matters that we love God and how to love Him well, using the instructions in the Great Commandment to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength as our guide.
